Johnny Jones Founder, President, and Chief Manager of NCW National Car Wash, Johnny Jones began approximately 20 years ago. He decided to own his first car wash as a hobby and tax deduction, Johnny said "if I could just save the taxes I paid in each year with my career with Bell South I would be very happy". As Johnny's 30 years came closer with Bell South as an Engineer (working from ground up and completing a college degree at the same time), Johnny purchased his first car wash on leased property on Gallatin Road (which he still successfully operates today).

His excitement of this new adventure grew into many locations around Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Michigan. His retirement became a whole new direction and world.

Johnny is a person who has touched many lives through his journey, and his success has been shared with many family members and friends who now own and operate their own washes. Some still have the NCW name and some do not. Johnny built and owned most all of these washes, and through Johnny's generousity he has made it possible to secure their futures as well.

Johnny Jones operates a family business. Even today he is supported by his brother Mike Jones, a retired Engineer from McDugal Company. Mike also played a big part in the success of the development of NCW, and still performs as a Board of Governors Member. Mike says "I just like being involved and helping my brother". Mike is an invaluable asset to Johnny and NCW, and also sub-contracts with large companies and NCW on designing new concepts.

Johnny has a minority investor, Gary Tinch, who also was a part of the NCW Dream. Gary played a key role in the growth of NCW and construction of the locations. Gary is a 15% owner and Johnny an 85% owner. Gary, an experienced businessman, also owns a masonry company.

Johnny holds the position of Chief Manager, but is finding less to do these days due to his adopted son Bryan King, of Colours by Cruiz, whose talents have been recognized by many national publications of Car and Motorcycle magazines. He is an artist and designer of custom bikes and rare vehicles with over 20 years in this business and 15 years in the auto business with his mother. Bryan decided to join his adopted father, Johnny, bringing with him all his energy, knowledge, and perfectionism to his position as General Manager and Director of Operations of NCW. Johnny says "I have to be careful of thinking out loud, otherwise it's too late. Bryan will have already acted on it."

The turn for NCW National Car Wash is to operate their stores with the best technology and service available in the industry. This also includes the growing NCW Sales Company which is the distributor for Blendco Soaps and Chemicals, the best and most cost efficient on the market. See more of these products on our Products & Supplies page. NCW serves over 60 stores including their own 13 locations, 13 Franchised Locations including 5 washes in Holland, Michigan

Johnny is supported by his wife, Sandy Jones, who can boast of being retired from her own auto business of 20 years, along with 30 years of auto experience, 7 years of owning her own advertising business, and 4 years of owning two furniture stores. Sandy assists in many capacities due to her multi-faceted background. She also serves as a member of the Board of Governors. Sandy is an investor in her own Tunnel Express Car Wash location in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Sandy's Tunnel was the first for NCW, and a learning tool for the company which has paid off tremendously (Sandy's store is one of the top producing stores).

The goal of this working family is to succeed in every aspect of the car wash industry, which is apparently happening as evidenced by being voted # 1 by the International Car Wash Association. Johnny Jones' goal has become a reality.
